Tarte Park Ave Princess Bronzer

Tarte Amazonian Clay Mineral Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess ($29) is a warm, dark bronzer with a slight sheen. Tarte says, "its a long wearing mineral-based bronzing powder infused with Amazonian clay for a healthy, natural looking glow." Tarte products are cruelty-free, and made with high-performance natural ingredients great for skin! These healthy long-wear formulas contain numerous vitamins, minerals, natural fruit, and plant extracts....And are formulated without parabens, phthalates and synthetic fragrances, just to name a few!

Normally, I'm very picky about shimmer and sheen! I don't like it in foundation, blush, lipstick or bronzer. The only place I like any type of glow is on my lids or highlight. However, after reading numerous sephora.com reviews I just couldn't help but see what all the fuss was about (beauty geek problems)! I'm very happy to say that this bronzer did not make me look like a disco ball! In fact, it did give my skin a lovely brown sun-kissed glow! By glow I mean it does have a slight sheen, unlike something like Benefits Hoola that is completely matte no shimmer or sheen. The texture is incredibly soft, finely milled, and velvety. The powder itself is effortless to apply; and blends easily.

My favorite way to apply this is in a 'C' shape, starting at my forehead and ending on the apples of my cheeks. It really warms up my face for summer! For an all over bronzer I've been using the Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder, and my favorite contour at the moment is L'oreal True Match Powder.

Overall, Park Avenue Princess is perfect to warm up your summer complexion and add a bit of radiance! The bronzing powder is most suitable for medium to deeper complexions. However, it does blend out beautiful, I will do a Face of the Day soon using it. I'd love to hear your favorite way to warm up your summer complexion??!

butter LONDON Nail Lacquer in Macbeth

Macbeth, named after the famed king of Scotland, is a gorgeous orange/coral that leans some what pink/red.  In short, it's absolutely gorgeous!  I will say the orangey coral is very accurate! How orangey Macbeth is depends on the lighting. Sometimes it appears a bright pink and other times an orangey-redish coral.
The formula was fabulous on Macbeth, opaque in two coats and lots of pigment.
All in all, as usual Butter London did not disappoint!  Macbeth is a great summer colors with a fun color payoff that is perfect as a manicure or pedicure!

L'oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain in Pink Rebellion

My latest beauty favorite.....L'oreal Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain ($9.99)!!! L'oreal says, "Now hydration & shine meet lasting, lightweight color. Colour Caresse Wet Shine Stain combines the power of a lip stain with lip-gloss luster." Formulated with light hydrating oils & concentrated pigments, and 30% water!  Twelve shades are available from nude, to a variety of pink tones as well as mauve, plums, red and even coral.  I picked up Pink Rebellion a beautiful blue based pink!

The stain come's in a sleek gold coated plastic tube. Under the L'oreal logo is clear plastic displaying the color... which is great if you have more then one shade!  The Wet Shine Stains comes with a teardrop applicator that will give you a lot of control for an easy application.  The application is very smooth, because its a water-based formula. It goes on almost gel-like (in a good non-sticky way) and feels cool on the lips. It leaves my lips so soft, comfortable and hydrated! My first ever hydrating lip-stain! As you can see from the above photos, the color is very build-able. One coat gives a lovely opaque color, and with two the color becomes more intense, deeper and glossier. It does have a light rose petal scent when you first apply. Without eating or drinking the shiny stain stays put for about 4 hours, but the tint on your lips will stay 6 hours.

Overall, I love this lip product! The packaging is adorable, its so hydrating and long lasting! Next time Ulta beauty store has a 'buy one, get one 50% off' I will be picking up Pink Resistance and Endless Red! I'd love to hear any shade recommendations in the comments below :)
